Student TravelPass

Student TravelPass and Student TravelPassPlus tickets are issued on a smartcard. An application form will need to be completed for a new card.

These smartcards can be recharged, so you will not need a new one each time you renew your pass but proof of attendance at a school or college will be required.

You can renew your smartcard TravelPass at our Travel Shop in Fleming Way. If your card is lost, stolen or damaged it can be ‘hotlisted’ to prevent it being used by anyone else and a replacement card issued (a fee will be charged for a replacement).

How do I obtain my Student TravelPass?
1 Fill in an Application Form, available from Swindon College, New College or our Travel Shop in Fleming Way.
2 When completed bring it to the Travel Shop with a passport size photograph and photographic proof of age, eg CitizenCard.
3 If you are over 16 we also require proof of attendance at college or school, eg college identity card or letter from your school confirming you are in their 6th Form.

Please note
To use a smartcard loaded with a TravelPass on a Stagecoach bus you will need to show your card AND a TravelPass ticket from a Thamesdown bus showing the card number and expiry date. If your first journey after buying or renewing your TravelPass is on a Stagecoach bus you will need to board a Thamesdown bus to obtain a ticket.
