TravelPass

 

TravelPass tickets give UNLIMITED travel on all Thamesdown and Stagecoach buses within the Swindon urban area (Inner and Outer zones) for periods of 1 week, 1 month or 3 months. Simply show your TravelPass to the driver on each bus you board.

1 month and 3 months TravelPass and TravelPassPlus tickets are issued on a smartcard. The smartcard can be recharged, so you will not need a new one each time you renew your pass.

Please complete the Application Form so we can prepare your smartcard for you.

 

You can have your smartcard sent to you by post, or you can collect it from our Travel Shop in Fleming Way. Once you have your smartcard you can load it with a monthly or 3 monthly TravelPass at our Travel Shop or at any PayPoint outlet in Swindon.

 
You can renew your smartcard TravelPass at any PayPoint outlet in Swindon as well as at our Travel Shop in Fleming Way. And if your card is lost, stolen or damaged it can be ‘hotlisted’ to prevent it being used by anyone else and a replacement card issued (fee charged).

1 week TravelPass tickets are issued on a credit card sized ticket with a magnetic strip. They are validated by inserting the card in the reader each time you board a bus with the magnetic strip facing the machine.  It will bleep repeatedly if it cannot be used; show your card to the driver for advice.  Please keep your card flat and dry. Lost tickets cannot be replaced.

Please note
To use a smartcard loaded with a TravelPass on a Stagecoach bus you will need to show your card and a ticket from a Thamesdown bus showing the card number and expiry date. If your first journey after buying or renewing your TravelPass is on a Stagecoach bus you will need to board a Thamesdown bus beforehand to obtain a ticket.
